Welcome To Carmel

The city of Carmel is one of the fastest-growing communities in the nation with a population of about 89,000 as of 2015. It is the heart of many culture and art fairs in the Indy area. Boasting a gorgeous Main Street area, Carmel is home to The Paladium performing arts center, theatres and many fine dining locations.

Carmel offers many recreational activities including its bicycle friendly trails that runs along five miles of the Monon Trail. Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation also offers over 5,000 annual classes and programs for all ages. Coxhill Gardens is also a beautiful location to picnic and walk.

The city recently created a gorgeous downtown area and community center offering tremendous shopping and dining as well as activities. One of the most well-known activities in the downtown area is Carmel Fest during the 4th of July festivities. There is also great shopping offered at Clay Terrace down the road.
